Heyo! How's everyone enjoying the fashion weeks? So fun being taken on a creative ride with all the genius designers. I think my highlights so far that I have seen are Proenza Schouler, Christopher Kane & Alexander Wang....but I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that, always enjoying seeing Marc Jacobs work too.
I have mentioned over the last few posts about my own range of dresses that I'm making..... I have decided to get a bunch of them finished and then post the photos all at once so you can see more of a range. Then if you like them it will be first in first served! They are all sample sizes ranging from 8,10,12 (Aussie size which I think is the same sizing as UK). Yeh; so sorry for the delay in showing you my own work but trust me you will see it in the not so distant future!
Hope you are enjoying my inspiration pics in the meantime!
Bruce Willis & his wife Emma Heming photographed by Steven Klein for W Mag '09
Hey just wondering guys....I like having my pictures this size but I still think its important to have all my other info like Profile, Archives, Blog Roll etc more visible/accessible than it is right now at the bottom of the page. Does anyone know how to get a scroll bar happening at the bottom so I can actually fit that margin down the side still???? Is it something to do with changing a width number in my html code?
Sometimes I get all fashioned out and need to look at something else like these beautiful ethereal photographs. Although...actually, the last pic is a fashion shot featuring Kate Moss, but it's all the same photographer and his pictures make me feel calm and serene.
I really need more hours in the day! Its so hard to get all my own work done then also go to work to keep earning me some money and still have time to catch up with friends. Actually nah.....I'm not gonna complain about it, I'm just gonna work harder! Its an exciting place to be really coz I can do anything from here....anything!!! Remember this people.
I've been sewing all day & night! It feels so good to be creating and I'm really happy with the fabrics I bought in Dubai. I've got some of the best quality cottons I have felt including a beautiful Liberty print. Can't wait to show you guys what I am making...& they will be for sale too!
The late Gianni Versace with his models of choice. The Super 3...Naomi, Christy & Kate.
This buckle collection is the ultimate in old school Versace. I tried to find out when exactly this collection was created but couldn't find much back past the year 2000. I'm guessing it's the same collection as Liz Hurley's infamous safety pin dress she wore when she had those awesome big 'ol eyebrows....a look a friend re-enacted at the 90s party the other week. (I went as Peggy Bundy from the 90s sitcom Married With Children...for those who asked)
How incredible is Christy Turlington's face!!?
Oooh & I'll have a pair of those jeans please .... and some Nadja legs wouldn't hurt.
