Last night I saw Erykah Badu in concert with Fat Freddy's Drop, followed by a Lo Down Loretta Brown DJ set!

AMAZING!

Today I'm in a Glassons hat (on sale in Nelson at xmas time! hehe) with feather, Erykah Badu poncho, Super Market shoelace and bolt necklace, Super Market love beads, second hand horse riding jodhpurs, haviana's, silver anklet bought in Jaisalmer India.

Today I'm wearing a New Orleans t-shirt I found on the street (ewww!.....I washed it ok), pinstripe ol man pants from the Salvo's, amazing brouges I scored from Top Hat, Super Market love beads.

He got Soul, and funk and style.

I'm gonna spend the weekend covering my massive pin boards with the ideas brewing in my head. 

If I don't get it all out then I will KA-BLAAM!

This is a yellow crochet top I found in a vintage store here on Gertrude St, the lady has dipped dyed it and I love the colour. Underneath is a black bikini top with a bright floral print I scored off my girl Haylee, and Denim shorts I bought in Austin Texas. I've got my Super Market body chain on and my bindi I bought at Rainbow Serpent Festival.

I call this my Jack White outfit. I really haven't been posting many outfits lately, mainly coz I'm work work work on the million and one projects I have going. This is me just back from work in the last of the Monday sun down the hallway. I think I might try taking more outfit pictures... I always like perving at everyone elses get ups!

So what I been working on is my Wild Flower short film. It's been in the making for quite awhile now, delayed because of location issues and funding. My very talented film maker friend approached me about a year ago wanting to get together and make a short film.....and it would feature the latest pieces I have been making.

Rainbow Serpent

I just got back from Rainbow Serpent festival doing a market stall there.

I had a great time! It was my first time going and the festival is pretty incredible, the market is out of this world!

These photos are taken in our next door neighbour's market tent, she sold awesome printed tights and amazing headpieces. Here I am trying on a big flower head piece that had a full on amazing skull in the back and then the second I'm trying on a lobster! Loved them a lot!
